Chief Visionary and CEO
Mindy Scarlett is a business owner, designer, teacher and long time volunteer with many youth organizations. While design in its myriad forms has been a constant in her life, from Michigan, to Australia , New Jersey, and finally to Orlando, the most important focus has been her work with young people.
Over the past 30 years, Mindy’s volunteer work has encompassed being a Youth pastor, volunteering as a teacher, being a mentor with Jobs for Youth, and working with Junior Achievement to teach middle school kids about the world of business.
In the Professional arena, Mindy has worked in the areas of Corporate Communications, Interior Design, teaching and entrepreneurship and is currently the owner of The Scarlett Creative Group, a publishing and marketing firm in Orlando.

David Persaud brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Foundation Board.
After 30 years of experience on Wall Street, David is now working one-on-one with a handful of clients, assisting them with their investment goals. David also enjoys teaching young people about the stock market and opening their eyes to all the opportunities that exist around the globe. His firm belief is that with the right goals and the correct applications of basic investment principals, anyone can create true financial freedom.
He is often known to quote many of the great innovators and philosophers of our time, including Les Brown who said: “Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way.”
